Hi, I’m Jacq
My love for fashion, design and style started as a young girl. I used to sit at my Mom’s sewing machine as a child waiting in anticipation for my next frock to be ready to wear! We would go to the fabric shop and spend hours picking out patterns and choosing fabric. I thought it was magic! Gorgeous memories and my first steps developing my sense of style.
In 2003, I started my career in fashion as an assistant womenswear designer, and quickly progressed. I worked with retailers - M&S, Debenhams and Principles to name a few - designing tailoring and separates that were modern, on trend and commercial. Part of the job was shopping in Milan, Paris, London and New York, trawling the shops for inspiration!
Fast forward 15 years and I made the decision to step away from the fast-paced life in fashion as a designer, and transition into a career that would offer more flexibility for my family, but still include my love of clothing and fashion. I re-trained as a Personal Stylist with The London College of Style in 2018 and haven’t looked back.
Helping my clients rediscover their style and boosting their confidence by sharing my knowledge and expertise is massively rewarding and brings me so much joy.
Besides fashion and style my other joys in life are long walks with my dog in the countryside, cold water swimming and listening to (way too many) podcasts on the go.
I live in Surrey with my husband, 2 teen boys and Rosie the dog.
I am looking forward to working with you!

“I loved my colour analysis and wardrobe edit with Jacq. It’s given me so much more confidence and I really enjoy opening my wardrobe and putting outfits together now I know what works best for me. Jacq made the whole process easy and fun - I’m so glad I found her! ”
My Approach and Values
My approach is relaxed and focused on having fun but with my clients goals always in mind!
Authenticity and equality are at the core of my business. I want my clients to have the confidence to express their own style - I believe that everyone, regardless of status, size, gender or age, can look really stylish!
I am led by my clients needs and lifestyle and not what the latest trends are. Consideration of my client’s day to day life, their likes and dislikes and budget when we work together is most important.
I want your experience to be rewarding and empowering. I have first hand experience of losing my way with my style after having my children so I understand how much of an impact not feeling your best can have.
I want to leave you feeling in control of your style and your wardrobe. You will learn what suits you and the reasons why and you will be inspired to put outfits together!
I will guide you and make sense of why you feel stuck - I will use clear explanations and follow up with email notes and photos from our sessions that you can refer back to.
My relationships with my clients continues beyond their initial style session. Clients return season after season to keep their wardrobes and style up to date - and others keep in touch via email and text messages to reach out with questions or updates.
